Advocacy Workshop: Health Care Disparities and Their Impact on Prevention
The Prevent Cancer Foundation® is holding its annual advocacy workshop on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Hilton McLean Tysons Corner Hotel. The Foundation hosts this workshop at no cost to attendees. The event is open to the public.
This workshop will focus on access and prevention issues at the federal, state and local levels. Expert speakers and panelists from across several chronic diseases will share insights and best practices from their experiences in increasing access to preventive services and eliminating socioeconomic, racial and geographic health disparities.
During the workshop, participants are invited to work together to identify common obstacles in prevention and access and develop solutions to these pressing concerns in disease prevention.
